Luca Joins Gymnastics!

We were at Karate last week and for some reason, Luca said that she wanted to do gymnastics. I have asked her everyday if she wants to go to karate and she says no. I can't force her to do it, I was just bummed because I had already paid for her to attend. We officially stopped going to Karate....for now and are going to wait until she is older.

We are now enrolled in Gymnastics and had our first class this morning. She is excited and loves it....for now. Whatever she wants to do, we will support. I just don't want her to give up on something that she already started. Like my Sister said, "Every kid is different but forcing them won't work...Luca is little let her try whatever she wants." My sister is very involved in my nieces and nephews activities and I respect her opinion.

Luca as always is great at it and wants to go again.

The next day we went to Nonna's to celebrate with a dinner and cake. Auntie Paula, Tio Clint, Trevor, Pamela & MJ were all there to sing happy birthday to Luca one more time.

After Disneyland the family came back to our house for dinner and desert. Luca had a sleepover with MJ, Melina & Mimis-they ended up staying up until midnight. Where do they get the energy??? THANK YOU FOR COMING! We really appreciate it and hope everyone had blast.

These are a few pictures from a day at Disneyland. Luca's Tia & Primos (Mimis, Martin, Maribel, Melina) drove 6 hours to spend this special day with us. Of course Papa & Luz came and Luca's cousin, MJ. It was so much fun and we appreciate our family taking time and celebrating with us.
Luca wanted to take pictures, so the next 7 photos she took. She would set the shot up and take it, then show the person the photo....very professional:)

After the doctor we met up with Papa and Luz for a Bithday Dinner at Luca's favorite restaurant, Vinces (spaghetti). Thanks Papa for making her birthday even more special!

We started her day by taking a half day off work (both of us) and surprising her at school. Then we went to the park, had a picnic, and played for a couple of hours. Luca loves going to the doctor with mommy, so all of us went for the baby's 9th month check-up.
