San Diego Zoo 2012

We decided to take advantage of our annual passes to The San Diego Zoo and went for the day. Luca's cousins have passes too, so we took them. Also, we had an extra pass and Nonna came out to enjoy the day with us. It was a beautiful afternoon, and the kids had a blast looking at all the animals and we enjoyed a nice picnic right outside the park. Luca ended the day with a sleep over at our house. It actually is easier having another kid in the house. Luca has a playmate and we love the noise of kids running and laughing.

Next week Wild Animal Park-our pass is good there too! Stay tuned....













It was so funny the girls and the map. Every time they were done viewing an animal they jumped in the stroller and got their maps out. It was really cute!!!

Happy Valentines Day!!!

Luca had a party at her school and for the first time passed out Valentine Cards. Mommy and Luca (well..mostly mommy) handmade the cards. Luca was asked to bring 13 for her class, but I gave her 25 to give to teachers and other friends. She gave them all away and was super excited when I picked her up to tell me about her day. She also had a bag of Valentine Cards from her classmates and it was fun reading them to her.

Nap Time

I had to post this picture of Luca sleeping in the grocery cart. She said that she wanted to take a nap and I said ok. She curled up and fell asleep for an hour. I got all my shopping done and some interesting looks from other shoppers. They were mostly amazed and I would just say, "She said she wanted to take a nap, and so she did." I kept trying to move her around, so she wouldn't get any cramps. She woke up happy as can be and I bought her a shaved ice.

Super Bowl Sunday 2012

We entertained a few close friends for Super Bowl and had a great time! Unfortunately, we were so busy entertaining we only got this shot of Luca in bed that night. It was 7:00 pm and that is really early for her to have passed out. The next morning the first thing she said was "I had so much fun!" Of course wee wee is next to her, he follows her around and always lays next to her.....so sweet.

Frosty Freeze

After dinner we go on an evening walk with Luca and Levi (wee wee). This night we walked in downtown Torrance and got Frosty Freeze ice cream...mmmmm..good:)

Family Day at the Park

It was so nice out we went down to our local park. One of Luca's classmate's was there, so they played together for most of the time. We ended the trip with an ice cream cone!

Chuck E Cheese's

Luca received her first report card from school and scored above average on all her tests. We are so proud of her and wanted to celebrate to show her that hard work is rewarded. She said she wanted to go to Chuck E Cheese's. We had a great time and Papa showed up too. I know she is only in Preschool, however, she really did study for her tests and has exceeded our expectations. Good Job Luca!
