Sunday was extreme opposite of Saturday,cold and rainy. Perfect day for breakfast with Papa and Luz and a nice long nap!
"Wee wee" always sleeps next to Luca. He is very gentle and is finally starting to grow out of the puppy stage.
Saturday was beautiful sunny and hot....sorry NY. We we're taking advantage of the weather hanging out in our backyard.
Luca wanted go swimming, so she pretended.
Levi also enjoys the warm weather with a nice beverage.

Fashionista..Pajamas and Heels
Every night after her bath and when she is in her pajamas we hear a "clack, clack, clack" coming through the house. It's Luca in high heels! Thanks to her Uncle Jeff, she has her first pair and she just adores them-they are play ones of course, but it is very entertaining for us.

For MLK day off to Nonna's to visit Luca's cousins. You can count on Luca always asking Malia if she can try her shoes on. They are shiny and actually light up when you walk....crazy!

Long Beach Aquarium
Luca's Nonna gave us ANOTHER family annual pass to the LB Aquarium-THANKS NONNA! It was such a beautiful day on Sunday, so we made a nice family day together. We lived in Long Beach for so long and just love spending time there. 
Luca's favorite animal is the sea lion she will sit in front of the window and count them in Spanish.
She puts both hands in the water to feel the sting rays, when most other kids are scared to just put one. A boy next to her was screaming because the mother was forcing him to put his hand in. Luca tried to explain to the boy that they are so cute and not to be afraid.
She is such a good girl! When it was time for lunch we grab a bench and eat a home packed lunch. She quietly observes the sounds and all the people and did not say or move until she was full. Then off to play in the water features!
Luca loves the birds and is not afraid to feed them. She walks in and puts both arms out hoping that a bird lands on her.

The Aqurium is a perfect outing, we go for a few hours have lunch and she falls a sleep on the way home for a two hour nap.

Luca's fashion is all her at this point..she picks what she wants.
She actually asks for accessories, like hats, scarves, purses, bracelets, hair pins etc..
It is fun to see her sense of style develop. Everyday she gets herself dressed and asks Daddy and Mommy how she looks and what we think. She does a turn and model session. Here is another of those sessions....

We got a fire pit and we are using it every weekend to keep warm. Making smores with family is so much fun!
