We were all excited for the first day of school. It was Mommy's first day of school/work, Luca's first day of school and Lexa's first day of her new daycare. We are a busy little family and with mommy and dady working full time and the girls at different places (Redondo and El Segundo) we are all over the place dropping off and picking up. I wouldn't change anything:)
Everything went smoothly and Luca loves her new school. We just had a parent conference yesterday and Luca's report card was great. Academically, she is in the high/middle group at school. One issue is that she is talkative and we need to work on that. She was in the high group, but she was too busy having conversations with the other little friends and she had to be moved. I would rather her be friendly and a leader than shy and timid.
Luca has made all new friends and is very happy to go to school everyday. She is learning to read and write very quickly. She is an amazing little girl....we are so proud of our oldest daughter.
