Family Tattoo

It's not a secret that we like body art....

This is our "Family Tattoo".  The symbol in the circle is  my zodiac sign (Scorpio) and Peter's zodiac design (Cancer) connected into one design.  The circle represents our union as one.  Our wedding color was red, so that's why we chose that color.

When Luca came we added her name to our symbol..

Now that Lexa is here, she deserves to be represented on our skin.
This is the Aries sign because both girls are Aries.  We thought that was pretty unique and made out to be a nice tattoo with of course her name.  The left one is daddy's (on his inside left wrist) and the left is mommy's (back of left arm).
Aries is considered the first sign of the zodiac the point where the zodiac recycles itself.  The signs of the zodiac have a circular, cyclical relationshi,p, one sign eveloving into the next.  Aries marks the transition point from the old cycle into the new one.  It represents the idea of leaving the old behind and launching into new beginnings, new adventures and setting off into unknown territory.  

Lexa is involved in the process.

It might be odd, but this is not Luca's first visit in the tattoo shop.
