Luca is Karate Master

We finally signed Luca up for Karate. I was waiting because I just couldn't believe that my daughter (who loves pink, princess and barbies) really wanted to join Karate. I kept asking her, "Are you sure you want Karate? Don't you want Dance or Gymnastics?" She insisted, so I took her in and every since it is all she talks about. I pick her up from school and it's the first thing she says.....is Karate today? We get home and she practices her "moves."

She is the youngest, but does really well. I am pleasantly surprised how much she loves it and how much I enjoy her doing it. I have now become one of those moms that run around after work taking her kids to their extra activities. My sister talks about it all the time..having 3 kids in gymnastics, baseball, soccer, wrestling (I'm sure I am forgetting one).

I have to pick Luca up from school, change her and get to Karate by 3:45 pm. I don't feel like it's a pain because she is so excited about going that it makes me happy to take her. I just hope the "honeymoon" period doesn't end between Luca and Karate.

I would love to see her get to the yellow belt!!
