Luca recovering from the busy holiday weekend!

After breakfast with Papa and saying good bye to Peter's sister's family we went home and rested. Luca. mommy & daddy enjoyed a 3hour nap! Yes, Luca slept for 3 1/2 hours!

Now, mommy is preparing for her "Evening of the Arts" student art show. Pictures to come!

Mommy's Art Show

I had to share with you my student's art show. I am so proud to be a teacher and to see such talent coming from my students. They inspire me everyday to continue to create art and go above and beyond. I am so fortunate to have a career I LOVE!! Everyday is new, exciting and I can't wait to start my day. I am in AN EXCELLENT district with a BEAUTIFUL campus.

My hope is that my daughter follows her dreams and is lucky enough to enjoy what she does everyday.

We are finally playing the Wii that we have had-thanks Nonna!

Another activity that we do during the week is singing/dancing.

While mommy is making dinner, Luca dances to one of the games. When daddy comes home from work, he always joins in:)

Bike Riding

During the week after we eat dinner @ 5:30-Luca plays on her swing set and/or rides her bike around the block. This day she rode around the block 3 times without any help. She finally can use the brakes, so that helps her when she starts going too fast going into a corner. Mommy has to jog next to her because she wants to go so fast!

The best way to end a day of fun, art and culture is with...chocolate ice cream!

Luca decided to pose on top of this installation that was also used as a skate spot when the

exhibit opened. People stopped and looked at her while she acted like a little model, it was

adorable.

that was completely off limits....Luca was not happy about that...haha!

Luca had an hour and a half nap while we enjoyed the show. We were able to watch a few

videos and documentaries about the street art scene.

For Mother's Day, Luca and I decided to take mommy to the Art In The Streets

exhibition at MOCA. We knew it would be an awesome time with great works of art

and a great experience for the 3 of us.
